FAQs
What exactly is Systemic Coaching?
Systemic coaching views your life as a web of interconnected parts—relationships, work, and default behaviors. Rather than treating a single problem in isolation, we map the patterns that link behavior and context. My role is to partner with you to identify where there are options for change and to realign your actions with your values so your daily life functions with greater integrity.
Is this the same as therapy?
No. I bring a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and two decades of clinical experience to our work, but systemic coaching is not a medical treatment. While therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and diagnostic care, coaching is forward-focused. We concentrate on strategy, clarity, and closing the gap between who you are and how you act. I do not provide diagnoses or crisis intervention.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Systemic coaching is a fee-for-service engagement and is not a medical treatment for a mental health diagnosis, so it is not covered by insurance. This model lets us concentrate fully on your goals and timeline without the constraints, session limitations, or documentation requirements that insurance can impose.
Can you work with me if my co-parent or partner isn’t involved?
Yes. Systemic work values the whole system, but substantial change often starts with one person. By shifting how you show up and the choices you make, you can alter the dynamics of a high-conflict system even if others haven’t joined the process.
I’m already successful; is this for me?
Absolutely. Many clients who are externally successful experience a friction between their achievements and their internal peace. We audit your operating systems and decision-making structures to move you from stable performance toward sustainable alignment and intention.
How long do we work together?
This is a high-bandwidth partnership, not an open-ended commitment. Some clients find the clarity they need in a few targeted sessions for a specific transition, while others choose a longer-term partnership for ongoing growth. We stay together as long as it sustains your progress.
